CACR25: relating to establishing a maximum rate for any uniform statewide property tax established in law by the general court for the purpose of providing state aid for public elementary and secondary education. Providing that the rate of any uniform statewide property tax established in law by the general court for the purpose of providing state aid for public elementary and secondary education shall not exceed $4.90 on each $1,000 of the value of taxable property subject to the tax, provided that a higher rate may be established by a 2/3 vote of those present and voting in each house of the general court.
