HOUSE BILL 218
AN ACT relative to the definition of beneficially interested person.
ANALYSIS
This bill adds a trustee of a trust which is a beneficiary of an estate to the definition of persons who are beneficially interested for the purpose of probate court proceedings.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT relative to the definition of beneficially interested person.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
82:1 Trustee Added; Beneficially Interested Persons. Amend RSA 550:12, VII and VIII to read as follows:
VII. An heir, or legatee under a will of a deceased ward; [or]
VIII. A creditor who is known to the fiduciary and has not been paid[.] ; or
IX. The trustee of a trust which is a beneficiary of the estate.
82:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2004.
