HOUSE BILL 292
AN ACT relative to vehicles entering intersections.
ANALYSIS
This bill prohibits a driver from entering an intersection unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection to accommodate the vehicle the driver is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT relative to vehicles entering intersections.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Special Rules of the Road; Vehicle Entering Intersection. Amend RSA 265 by inserting after section 94 the following new section:
265:94-a Vehicle Entering Intersection. No driver shall enter an intersection unless there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection to accommodate the vehicle the driver is operating without obstructing the passage of other vehicles, notwithstanding any traffic control signal indication to proceed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2004.
