HOUSE BILL 294
AN ACT relative to notification of abutting communities of ridge-line or above developments.
ANALYSIS
This bill adds ridge-line developments to the definition of "development of regional impact" and requires a local land use board to notify affected municipalities and the regional planning commission and give them the status of abutters.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT relative to notification of abutting communities of ridge-line or above developments.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Definition of Development of Regional Impact; Ridge-line Development Added. Amend RSA 36:55 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:
VII. Buildings which will rise above a ridge line which is 500 or more feet above the level of any adjacent valley.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2004.
