AN ACT relative to designating county delegates on state election ballots.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three

AN ACT relative to designating county delegates on state election ballots.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 State General Election; Designation of Office; County Delegate. Amend RSA 656:6, I to read as follows:

I. The office to which the candidates have been nominated shall be printed at the top of each box in which are grouped the candidates for the same office, with each box preceded by the word "For", as in "For Governor". The office of state representative shall also be designated "county convention delegate." Below [such] the designation for office shall be printed "Vote for not more than (here insert a number designating how many persons are to be voted for)."

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
