AN ACT relative to the operation of ski craft within navigation channels.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three

AN ACT relative to the operation of ski craft within navigation channels.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Ski Craft; Definitions; Navigation Channel. Amend RSA 270:73 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

II-a. "Navigation channel" means a channel or waterway marked by buoys, lights, or other markings clearly indicating such channel or waterway to be navigable for motor and sail vessels which are either nationally documented or state-registered vessels, and where notice has been posted that operation of ski craft is prohibited.

2 New Paragraph; Operation of Ski Craft; Navigation Channel. Amend RSA 270:74 by inserting after paragraph VII the following new paragraph:

VII-a. No person shall operate a ski craft within any navigation channel.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2004.
