AN ACT relative to certain deliberative session amendment procedures in official ballot voting.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT relative to certain deliberative session amendment procedures in official ballot voting.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Official Ballot; Amending Budget Articles. Amend RSA 40:13, IV by inserting after subparagraph (b) the following new subparagraph:
(c) A budget article or a bond article proposed by the governing body, or the budget committee if there is one, shall not be amended by more than 10 percent from the proposed amount.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
