AN ACT relative to exceptions to the carrying or selling of certain weapons.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT relative to exceptions to the carrying or selling of certain weapons.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Pistols and Revolvers; Exceptions. Amend RSA 159:17 to read as follows:
159:17 Exceptions. The provisions of [the preceding section] RSA 159:16 shall not apply to officers of the law, to persons holding a valid license issued under RSA 159:6, to persons holding hunters' licenses when lawfully engaged in hunting, to employees of express companies while on duty, or to watchmen while on duty.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2005.
