STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three

AN ACT prohibiting minors from sitting in the smoking sections of restaurants.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Prohibiting Minors From Sitting in Smoking Sections of Restaurants. Amend RSA 155 by inserting after section 67 the following new section:

155:67-a Minors Prohibited From Smoking Sections of Restaurants. Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter or other law to the contrary, minors shall not be seated in the smoking sections of restaurants. For the purposes of this section "minor" means any person under 18 years of age.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2005.
