HOUSE BILL 1334
AN ACT relative to retention of records of fish and game law violations by the fish and game department.
ANALYSIS
This bill requires the fish and game department to remove records for individuals convicted of fish and game law offenses which are violations 7 years after the final disposition.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Four
AN ACT relative to retention of records of fish and game law violations by the fish and game department.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
32:1 New Section; Records of Violations. Amend RSA 206 by inserting after section 10 the following new section:
206:10-a Records of Violations. The executive director shall remove and destroy records retained by the department concerning convictions for offenses of fish and game laws, provided that the offense was a violation and no subsequent conviction by the same person could result in an enhanced penalty, and provided the department retained the record of the violation for not more than 7 years from the final disposition of the matter.
32:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
