STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
AN ACT establishing Patriots Day in New Hampshire.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Observances Proclaimed by the Governor; Patriots Day. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-1 the following new section:
4:13-m Patriots Day. The governor shall annually proclaim December 13 as Patriots Day commemorating the battle of Fort William and Mary in 1774 and shall urge cities and towns to observe this day with appropriate events.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
