STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Three
A RESOLUTION supporting President Bush's hydrogen fuel initiative.
Whereas, President Bush announced a hydrogen fuel initiative to reverse America's growing dependence on foreign oil by developing the technology for commercially-viable hydrogen-powered fuel cells to power cars, trucks, homes, and businesses with no pollution or greenhouse gases; and
Whereas, the general court recognizes the value of New Hampshire's natural beauty and supports measures that extend the life and preserve the quality of our environment; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
That the general court hereby supports the initiative of President Bush concerning the development and use of hydrogen-powered vehicles; and
That the general court hereby encourages New Hampshire businesses to develop fuel cell technology for use in this state by 2007; and
That the general court hereby encourages gas and oil service providers to invest in developing fuel cell refueling technology and locations.
