STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Four

AN ACT relative to licensing of boiler inspectors.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

120:1 Boiler Inspectors; Licensing. Amend RSA 157-A:7, I and II to read as follows:

I. A boiler and pressure vessel inspector shall hold [a] an active National Board commission and be qualified by the commissioner of labor.

II. A license shall be issued by the commissioner to an inspector for a [2-year] 1-year period. A fee of $30 shall be charged for the license. A license may be renewed every [2 years] year upon payment of a fee of $20. Employees of the department of labor shall not be charged for the issuance or renewal of a license.

120:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
