HOUSE BILL 147
AN ACT relative to the death penalty.

This bill provides that no person who is under the age of 18 at the time the offense was committed shall be culpable of capital murder.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT relative to the death penalty.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
35:1 Capital Murder. Amend RSA 630:1, V to read as follows:
V. In no event shall any person under the age of [17] 18 years at the time the offense was committed be culpable of a capital murder.
35:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
