STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT requiring disclosure of documents prior to a residential real estate closing.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Conveyances and Mortgages of Realty; Disclosure Required Prior to Closing. Amend RSA 477 by inserting after section 4-f the following new section:
477:4-g Disclosure Required Prior to Residential Real Estate Closing. The parties to a residential real estate transaction shall receive a copy of all documents required to execute the contract for the purchase and sale of the property at least 3 days prior to the closing.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
