AN ACT increasing certain motor vehicle fees.

ANALYSIS

This bill increases the fees charged by the department of safety for replacement number plates. This bill also establishes a fee for the replacement of validation stickers.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT increasing certain motor vehicle fees.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

56:1 Registration Fees; Number Plates. Amend RSA 261:141, VII(e) to read as follows:

(e) For the replacement of each number plate which has been lost, mutilated, or made illegible--[$3.50] $4.

(f) For the replacement of lost or illegible validation sticker--$1.

56:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
