STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT relative to harassment by telephone.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
138:1 Harassment by Telephone. Amend RSA 644:4, I(a) to read as follows:
(a) Makes a telephone call, whether or not a conversation ensues, with no legitimate communicative purpose or without disclosing his or her identity and with a purpose to annoy, abuse, threaten, or alarm another; or
138:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
