AN ACT relative to the publication of honor rolls and academic awards.

ANALYSIS

This bill allows a school board to publish a pupil’s name as part of an honor roll listing or as part of a description of high academic achievement received by such pupil.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to the publication of honor rolls and academic awards.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; School Boards; Teachers; Publication of Honor Rolls and Academic Awards. Amend RSA 189 by inserting after section 27-b the following new section:

189:27-c Publication of Honor Rolls and Academic Awards. A school board may publish a pupil’s name as part of an honor roll listing or as part of a description of high academic achievement received by such pupil.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
