STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT relative to the burning of construction and demolition debris.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Construction and Demolition Debris; Definition. Amend RSA 149-M:4 by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraph:
IV-a. “Construction and demolition debris” means waste material that is produced in the process of construction, renovation, or demolition of structures.
2 New Paragraph; Incineration Prohibited. Amend RSA 149-M:27 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
IV. No construction and demolition debris shall be disposed of in any incinerator.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
