STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five
AN ACT relative to the state’s purchase of the Laconia district courthouse building and making an appropriation therefor.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
158:1 Appropriation; Department of Administrative Services. The sum of $1 is hereby appropriated to the department of administrative services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, for the purpose of purchasing the Laconia district courthouse building and land appurtenant to the building, as identified on map 449, block 2, lot 26, on July 1, 2005. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. If at any time after the purchase takes effect, the building is not used for state-related offices, the city of Laconia shall have the right to purchase the building and land appurtenant to the building for the fair market value less the fair market value of the building and land on July 1, 2005. In this section, “fair market value” means fair market value as determined by an appraisal conducted by the state of New Hampshire.
158:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
