AN ACT allowing municipalities to grant 2 veterans’ tax credits in a single household.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT allowing municipalities to grant 2 veterans’ tax credits in a single household.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Property Taxation; Veterans’ Credit; Additional Person. Amend RSA 72:28 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. A municipality may adopt, according to the procedure in RSA 72:27-a, the extension of the veterans’ tax credit under this section to an additional person residing in the same household who also qualifies under paragraphs IV and V.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect April 1, 2005.
