AN ACT relative to disclosure of appeals processes under insurance policies.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT relative to disclosure of appeals processes under insurance policies.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Insurance Policies; Appeals Process. Amend RSA 400-A by inserting after section 16 the following new section:
400-A:16-a Appeals Process Required on Insurance Policies. All insurers subject to the provisions of this title shall include, on the first page of any insurance policy issued to an insured, a description of the appeals process along with the address and telephone number of the insurance department.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
