HOUSE BILL 1340

AN ACT relative to references to “United States citizen” in the New Hampshire statutes.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to references to “United States citizen” in the New Hampshire statutes.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Change from “United States Citizen” to “American Citizen of the United States.” Amend the following RSA provisions by replacing “United States citizen” with “American citizen of the United States”: RSA 167:79; 178:3; 263:5-c; 331-B:10; 654:3; 654:7; 654:12; and 654:20.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
