AN ACT relative to firearms in locked vehicles.

This bill permits a person holding a valid license to carry to have a loaded pistol or revolver in a locked vehicle on public or private property.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT relative to firearms in locked vehicles.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Pistols and Revolvers; License to Carry. Amend RSA 159:6 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. A person holding a valid license to carry obtained under this section shall be permitted to carry a loaded pistol or revolver in a locked vehicle on public or private property.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
