AN ACT relative to workers’ compensation requirements for out-of-state employers and employees.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to workers’ compensation requirements for out-of-state employers and employees.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

122:1 New Section; Workers’ Compensation; Application of Chapter. Amend RSA 281-A by inserting after section 5-e the following new section:

281-A:5-f Application of Chapter to Nonresident Employees and Employers. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the provisions of this chapter shall apply to nonresident employees and employers doing business in New Hampshire.

122:2 Repeal. RSA 281-A:5-e, relative to nonapplication of chapter to nonresident employees, is repealed.

122:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
