AN ACT relative to continuing education for licensed electricians.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT relative to continuing education for licensed electricians.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Electricians; Renewal of Licenses; Continuing Education. Amend RSA 319-C:9 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. A master electrician or journeyman electrician applying for renewal with the board shall show proof satisfactory to the board of completion of an electrical code update certification course within one year of the adoption of an update to the National Electrical Code as approved by the state building code review board.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
