AN ACT prohibiting the taking of game by use of a tranquilizer.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT prohibiting the taking of game by use of a tranquilizer.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

23:1 New Section; Fish and Game; Methods of Taking Game; Tranquilizers Prohibited. Amend RSA 207 by inserting after section 8-a the following new section:

207:8-b Use of Tranquilizers Prohibited. No person shall take game using a tranquilizer propelled from a bow, crossbow, or firearm. This shall not apply to the executive director of fish and game or the executive director’s authorized agents.

23:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2008.
