STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

A RESOLUTION recognizing the sacrifices and service of New Hampshire Air Force veterans on the 60th anniversary of the United States Air Force.

Whereas, since the beginning of our great nation, the sons and daughters of the United States of America have answered our nation’s call to duty, ensuring liberty and fighting tyranny; and

Whereas, the members of the United States Air Force have always put duty above all else, undertaking every mission with admirable courage and uncommon valor; and

Whereas, it is appropriate and important that all citizens remember those men and women who have given their lives in service to our great nation; and

Whereas, we proudly and gratefully recognize the hardships and sacrifices demanded from, and faithfully accepted by, the thousands of men and women who have defended us in war and peace and then returned home to resume their lives of work, family, and community service; and

Whereas, Air Force service personnel are currently standing in defense of our country to stop terrorism against the American people at home; and

Whereas, the Unites States Air Force is celebrating its 60th anniversary on September 18, 2007; and

Whereas, it is fitting to honor the men and women from New Hampshire who have served our state and our country in the Air Force; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That gratitude and appreciation is hereby expressed to all New Hampshire veterans who served our state and our country in the United States Air Force.
