STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT changing the membership of the economic development matching grants screening committee.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

118:1 Economic Development Matching Grants Program. Amend RSA 12-A:32, II(a) to read as follows:

II.(a) The screening committee shall consist of the director of the division of economic development and 6 other members appointed as follows:

(1) One member appointed by the governor and council upon nomination by the commissioner of resources and economic development.

(2) [Two members] One member appointed by the governor and council upon nomination by the New Hampshire Municipal Association.

(3) [Three] Two members appointed by the governor and council upon nomination by the New Hampshire Economic Developers Association [of Commerce and Industry].

(4) One member appointed by the governor and council upon nomination by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire.

(5) One member appointed by the governor and council upon nomination by the New Hampshire Association of Counties.

118:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
