SENATE BILL 202

AN ACT establishing a lifetime license for certain long-serving emergency medical care providers.

ANALYSIS

This bill allows the commissioner of safety to grant a lifetime license at no fee to a person serving for at least 20 years as an emergency medical care provider in this state.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT establishing a lifetime license for certain long-serving emergency medical care providers.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Emergency Medical Provider Licenses. Amend RSA 153-A:11 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:

VII. The commissioner may grant a lifetime license to a person who is currently licensed in good standing under this section and who has served as an emergency medical provider in this state for at least 20 years. A lifetime license shall be issued at no fee for the level of achievement for the person and shall not expire.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.
