STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven
AN ACT relative to hazardous buildings.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Life Safety Code Violations. Amend RSA 155-B:1, II to read as follows:
II. “Hazardous building” means any building which[,]:
(a) Because of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, physical damage, unsanitary condition, or abandonment, constitutes a fire hazard or a hazard to public safety or health.
(b) Fails to meet the requirements of the Life Safety Code, NFPA Doc. No. 101.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2008.
