STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven
A RESOLUTION declaring a state of emergency in the town of Dorchester during the March 2006 floods.
Whereas, the town of Dorchester sustained serious flood damage as the result of flooding that occurred in March 2006; and
Whereas, the Province Road bridge was completely destroyed, resulting in road closures in the town; and
Whereas, the town is now faced with costly repairs as a result of damaged infrastructure; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That a state of emergency be declared in the town of Dorchester during the March 2006 floods; and
That a signed copy of this resolution be sent to the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, the governor, and the governing body of the town of Dorchester.
