AN ACT relative to department of transportation traffic control regulations.
ANALYSIS
This bill eliminates the requirement that the department of transportation file a copy of traffic control regulations affecting a particular town with the town clerk.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT relative to department of transportation traffic control regulations.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
141:1 Filing Requirement for Towns Deleted. Amend RSA 236:2 to read as follows:
236:2 Control Regulations Filed. Regulations controlling traffic by such stop signs, devices, or signals shall be filed with the department of transportation and shall be open to public inspection. [A copy of such regulations affecting a particular town shall be filed with the town clerk for information.]
141:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
