HOUSE BILL 1176

AN ACT relative to jury duty.

ANALYSIS

This bill requires each person whose name is on the master jury list to serve or be excused from serving as a juror before a person who has previously served or been excused from serving as a juror is again called to serve. The bill also repeals an obsolete provision allowing preparation of the master jury list by computer instead of by random draw.
