STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT establishing the position of director of climate change in the office of energy and planning.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Office of Energy and Planning; Director of Climate Change. Amend RSA 4-C:6 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. The governor shall designate an employee within the office of energy and planning as the director of climate change. The director shall monitor environmental issues and assist the governor and state agencies in formulating policies relating to climate change.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
