AN ACT relative to local enforcement of the state building code.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT relative to local enforcement of the state building code.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
38:1 New Paragraph; Local Enforcement; Building Codes Amend RSA 674:51 by inserting before paragraph I the following new introductory paragraph:
The state building code established in RSA 155-A shall be effective in all towns and cities in the state and shall be enforced as provided in RSA 155-A:7. In addition, towns and cities shall have the following authority:
38:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
