SENATE BILL 361

AN ACT relative to the widening of Interstate 93.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

This bill directs the commissioner of transportation to expedite completion of the widening of Interstate 93 from Manchester to the Massachusetts border once work has commenced on any one of the construction projects.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT relative to the widening of Interstate 93.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

329:1 New Paragraph; Priority Construction. Amend 2000, 273:1 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

IV. Once work has commenced on any one of the various construction projects that constitute the 18-mile widening of Interstate 93 from Manchester to the Massachusetts border, the commissioner of the department of transportation shall expedite all Interstate 93 construction projects within the entire 18-mile corridor until their completion.

329:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
