SENATE BILL 367

AN ACT relative to the date of the final property tax bill in municipalities that bill quarterly.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT relative to the date of the final property tax bill in municipalities that bill quarterly.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

40:1 Property Taxation; Definition; Date of the Final Tax Bill. Amend RSA 76:1-a, I(d) to read as follows:

(d) Notwithstanding subparagraph (c), in municipalities that bill quarterly, pursuant to RSA 76:15-aa, the last date the municipality mails [the final tax bill] to the taxpayers the quarterly tax bill due January 2.

40:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
