SENATE BILL 415
AN ACT relative to the effective date of the compulsory school attendance law.
ANALYSIS
This bill amends the effective date of HB 87 of the 2007 legislative session relative to compulsory school attendance by providing that on June 30, 2009, the age of compulsory school attendance shall be raised from 16 to 18 years of age.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT relative to the effective date of the compulsory school attendance law.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
126:1 Compulsory Attendance Law; Effective Date. Amend 2007, 350:6 to read as follows:
350:6 Effective Date.
I. Sections 2-4 of this act shall take effect as provided in section 5 of this act.
II. Section 1 of this act shall take effect June 30, 2009.
III. The remainder of this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
126:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
