STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT naming the Elm Street bridge in Newport after Specialist Justin A. Rollins.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
99:1 The Specialist Justin A. Rollins Memorial Bridge. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the Elm Street bridge in Newport, department of transportation number 137/099, which spans the Sugar River, is hereby named the Specialist Justin A. Rollins Memorial Bridge in honor of Specialist Justin A. Rollins who was killed in Iraq. Appropriate signage may be placed at the bridge.
99:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.
99:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
