STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT eliminating the processing fee on court credit card transactions.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
53:1 Processing Fee Eliminated. Amend RSA 490:26-a, III to read as follows:
III. All court fees, surcharges, and fines paid into any court may be paid by credit card in lieu of cash payment. [The courts shall collect a $3 processing fee in addition to each fee, surcharge, or fine paid by credit card.]
53:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
