AN ACT relative to the minimum amount of child support ordered by the court.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to the minimum amount of child support ordered by the court.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Definition of Minimum Support Order. Amend RSA 458-C:2, V to read as follows:

V. “Minimum support order” means an order of support equal to [$50] $150 per month, unless the court determines that a lesser amount is appropriate under the particular circumstances of the case.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2010.
