STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to permitting village district commissioners to apply for certain bridge aid.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Application for Bridge Aid. Amend RSA 234:5, I to read as follows:

I. The selectmen of a town, the mayor of a city, [or] the county commissioners for an unincorporated place, or the village district commissioners may annually apply to the commissioner of transportation in the manner prescribed by the commissioner for bridge aid on a class II, IV, or V highway or a county-owned road. The county commissioners may annually apply to the commissioner of transportation in the manner prescribed by the commissioner for bridge aid for a county-owned bridge.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
