AN ACT relative to the taking of snapping turtles.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT relative to the taking of snapping turtles.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Nongame Species Management; Snapping Turtles. Amend RSA 212-B by inserting after section 4 the following new section:
212-B:4-a Snapping Turtles. No person shall take more than 2 snapping turtles (Chelydra serpentina) in any season. No snapping turtle exceeding 30 pounds in weight shall be taken. The executive director shall adopt rules concerning the taking of snapping turtles pursuant the authority in RSA 212-B:4.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
