AN ACT establishing the women, infants, and children program fund.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT establishing the women, infants, and children program fund.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
68:1 New Section; Women, Infants, and Children Program Fund. Amend RSA 132 by inserting after section 12-d the following new section:
132:12-e Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program Fund. There is hereby established the women, infants, and children (WIC) fund. The fund shall be composed of food rebates, including but not limited to, infant formula and baby food, purchased under the WIC program established pursuant to this chapter. The fund shall be nonlapsing and shall be continually appropriated to the commissioner of the department of health and human services for the purposes of continuous support for the WIC program as required by federal law and regulations.
68:2 New Subparagraph; Fund Added. Amend RSA 6:12, I(b) by inserting after subparagraph (276) the following new subparagraph:
(277) Moneys deposited in the women, infants, and children program (WIC) fund, established under RSA 132:12-e.
68:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
