STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT establishing that the state of New Hampshire recognizes the designations of Prisoner of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA) as valid descriptions of casualty status and category classification for military personnel.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
87:1 New Subdivision; Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Designations. Amend RSA 110-B by inserting after section 81 the following new subdivision:
Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Designations
110-B:82 Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Designations. The state of New Hampshire hereby recognizes the designations of Prisoner of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA) as valid descriptions of casualty status and category classification for military personnel.
87:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
