AN ACT relative to the operation of the Hillsborough county domestic violence unit in the Manchester district court.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to the operation of the Hillsborough county domestic violence unit in the Manchester district court.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

23:1 Location of Hillsborough County Domestic Violence Unit. The Hillsborough county domestic violence unit (DV unit) may occupy office space, free of charge, in the Manchester district court, or in another appropriate, state-owned building. At the discretion of the department of administrative services and the DV unit, the parties may enter into a lease agreement relative to the terms and conditions of the DV unit’s tenancy, provided that any such agreement shall meet the requirements of this section.

23:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
