STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten
AN ACT requiring police officers receiving notice of a motor vehicle accident to respond to the scene of the accident.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Law Enforcement Response to Notice of Accident. Amend RSA 264 by inserting after section 25-a the following new section:
264:25-b Law Enforcement Response to Notice of Accident. Any police officer who receives notice of a motor vehicle accident within his or her jurisdiction shall respond to the scene of the accident.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
