STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten
AN ACT naming a bridge in Lisbon in honor of Specialist Alan J. Burgess.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
380:1 Town of Lisbon; Bridge Number 094-114. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, bridge number 094-114 in the town of Lisbon which crosses over routes 302 and 10 and the Ammonoosuc river is hereby named the Specialist Alan J. Burgess Memorial Bridge in honor of Specialist Alan J. Burgess who was killed on October 15, 2004 while on patrol duty in Mosul, Iraq. Appropriate signage or markers may be placed at the site of the bridge.
380:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.
380:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
