AN ACT requiring consumer protection for prepaid services.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT requiring consumer protection for prepaid services.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Consumer Protection; Acts Unlawful. Amend RSA 358-A:2 by inserting after paragraph XIV the following new paragraph:

XV. Failing to provide services for which payment was made in advance, or failing to return prepaid funds upon termination of services by either party.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 90 days after its passage.
